Color Trend Spring 2018 - Chili Oil

Color Trend Spring 2018 - Chili Oil

In accordance with the PANTONE Fashion Color Trend Report, designers are recognizing the need to show more color in their collections.

"The desire for colorful self-expression is a key take away for Spring 2018. The color story is wildly divergent and we see a kaleidoscopic bounty of uplifting shades and feel-good tones. There is a feeling of optimism and confidence driving a new vitality into fashion trends. That doesn’t mean that we don’t continue to look for more neutral or classic shades as while simple, these core basics are seasonal essentials, working well on their own as well as providing the landscape for the color complexity." - noted Laurie Pressman / The Pantone Color Institute.

As a base color, let's take only one of 12 colors - Chili Oil. Just imagine red and Bordeaux chili peppers processed for oil that has gorgeous and juicy color. That color is perfect for leather goods. You can see a lot of it on the runway - shoes, bags, jackets.

Chili oil is also perfect for multiusage during other seasons, you can even mix it up with sandy and rose tones in Spring, or with blue and green tones in Fall. See it for yourself, we 've shown some samples of color combinations using Chili Oil tone. And remember, keep it classic.
